Use this info guide to learn how to activate and use Three-Way Calling.

With Three-Way Calling or Conference Calling, you can add a third party to a call and hold meetings even when you're on the go.

Initiating a 3-way call (3G/CDMA)

  1. Dial the first number and then press SEND or the phone icon. Wait until the first party answers.
  2. Press SEND or the phone icon to place the first caller on hold. Wait for a dial tone.
  3. Dial the second number and press SEND or the phone icon. Wait until the second party answers.
  4. Press SEND or the phone icon again to connect all three parties.

Connecting to a third party when a call is already in progress

  1. Press SEND or the phone icon to place the first caller on hold. Wait for a dial tone.
  2. Dial the second number and press SEND or the phone icon. Wait until the second party answers.
  3. Press SEND or the phone icon again to connect all three parties.

Disconnecting a conference call

  1. To disconnect the second party only, press SEND or the phone icon.
  2. Press END to terminate both calls at once.

Initiating a conference call (3.5G/HSPA)

  1. Connect up to five people by dialing the first number and then pressing SEND or the phone icon. Wait until the party answers.
  2. Use the on-screen menu and select Options or Add Caller and then dial the second party.
  3. Once the second party has answered, use the above step to add up to five parties.

Connecting to another party to an ongoing call

  1. Once you have one party on the line, using the on-screen menu, select Options or Add Caller, then dial the second party’s number.
  2. Once the second party has answered, repeat the first step to add up to five parties.

Disconnecting a conference call

Press END to terminate the conference call. The call will continue if any party hangs up before the conference call ends.
