HST in effect in Ontario as of July 1, 2010
As of July 1, 2010, provincial sales taxes in Ontario were combined with the federal Goods and Services Tax (GST), resulting in a single Harmonized Sales Tax, or HST, appearing on customers’ bills.
New HST reversal in effect in British Columbia as of April 1, 2013
As of April 1, 2013, the 12% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) will be removed, and the Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 5% and Provincial Sales Tax (PST) of 7% will be reinstated.

New HST in effect in Prince Edward island as of April 1, 2013
As of April 1, 2013 provincial sales tax (PST) in Prince Edward Island will be reduced from 10% to 9%, and will be combined with the Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST), resulting in a single Harmonized Sales Tax, or HST of 14%, instead of 15.5%.
Depending on your bill date you may see taxes pro-rated, that means PST and GST appearing separately for services charged prior to April 1st and HST for services charged after April 1st For Solo Mobile, HST will begin to appear on bills in March or April 2013.
