Activating Roadside Assistance
Here's how to turn on Roadside Assistance:
- In order to have Roadside Assistance, you must have a monthly or prepaid Solo Mobile account.
- Call Client Care free from you Mobile phone by dialing #SOLO or from any other phone at 1 877 999-SOLO (7656) to add the feature.
- The feature will be functional 48 hours after its addition.
Good to know
The service is linked to the mobile phone number that is registered with Roadside Assistance. The mobile phone must be at the location Roadside Assistance is dispatched to. The driver or vehicle can be different from the one registered with Roadside Assistance.
Calling Roadside Assistance
The following services are available through Roadside Assistance:
- Changing a flat tire (spare tire must be provided by the subscriber)
- Gas delivery (up to 12 litres)
- Battery boost
- Locksmith
- Towing following mechanical problems

I have a recreational vehicle. Can I subscribe to Roadside Assistance?
No. Here is a list of vehicles that are not eligible:
- Recreational vehicles: boats, motorcycles, trailers, etc.
- Trucks weighing one ton or more
- Vehicles with more than two axles or more than four wheels
- Vehicles adapted for work (e.g., taxis, vehicles with lettering on them, vehicles that hold work equipment)
- Vehicles with a licence plate that begins with F (Quebec only)
